Rebecca didn’t intend to start writing about motherhood. In fact, she hadn’t written anything beside corporate emails in a very long time, but the opportunity came to her, she thought, “Why not?” and got hooked on deconstructing the big and small moments of life to connect with you.Â
She decided not to name this site something mom-related because she talks about more than “mom stuff” in real life. Maybe one day she’ll write about it, too.
Before deciding to stay home with her two kids, Rebecca spent her days in corporate America as an HR professional. She went by her formal name, Rebecca, but at home, she answered to “Becky.” Her husband would describe her as being in “Rebecca mode” Monday through Friday—stressed and serious—and switching to “Becky mode” on the weekends—fun and easy going.
Now, her life is one big blend of every emotion every day, so the lines between Rebecca and Becky are blurred, making it apt name for this site.
Join Rebecca as she writes about the world of stay-at-home moms, preschool and the playground. Sometimes she’s funny. Sometimes she’s not, but she’ll always be honest.
